One of my favorite childhood memories is stopping by The Coast Guard Station as we walked home from school. Every time I come home to the beach I drop in to shop at the Gift Store for myself and for presents. For all the men who served at The Station, thank you for your service and for the memories.

Where did the George R. Tolman attribution come from? He did a lot of lifesaving stations but in 1903 he was working in Richmond with Marion Dimmock and teaching a young W. Duncan Lee.
